I like to think of Poetically Quiet Evidence in the following manner. Consider a fireplace. It’s warm and bright, as the snowy blizzard rages outside. Across from you is someone you care about, either a family member, a dear friend, or even a significant other. You’re each holding your favorite drink. Perhaps you like tea (would you like it herbal, or with cream and sugar?), hot chocolate (with extra marshmallows, of course), or simple warm milk. Before you on the coffee table, upon which you both have rested your fuzzy-socked feet, is a beautifully bound book of poetry. You suggest you take turns reading, and are soon lost in a world far, far away from the chilly evening.
In contrast, my main blog (which, in case you hadn’t noticed, is where you are now) is like a bright, sunny morning. You’ve finally gotten a good night’s rest, and are ready to take on the world looking fresh and breezy.
So wherever you’d like to place yourself, take your pick, and discover a little piece of what it means to me to be a writer.
Take care, and God bless!
